In addition to companionship and personal care services, specially oriented caregivers provide continuous care and activities to keep patients stimulated and leading as active a lifestyle as is prescribed for them.
Q. Would I need a companion or a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for my mother?
A. While both types of Aides would provide all of the companionship tasks, a CNA, in addition, is licensed to assist with “personal” or hands-on tasks, such as bathing, feeding and such.
Q. How do you go about choosing an Aide for my mother?
A. We would ask you to provide a brief description of the patient, and particularly about her lifestyle, likes and dislikes. Bases on that, we get back to you with our selected caregiver.
